• 6th - 12th Grade Girls: If you are interested in wrestling, or would like to learn more about Girls Wrestling, There will be an informational meeting with Coach Truax next Wednesday, October 16th, during 6th hour in the Conference Room.
• 10th Graders: If you are planning to take either a CIS class or OCHS class in the Spring, details have been posted on your Google Classroom. ACCUPLACER Testing dates are Oct. 24th or Oct. 30th.
• If you have not given your pledge sheet to Mr. Qual for the Free Throw-a-thon, please bring it tomorrow (Friday October 11th). I need it ASAP!

• Enjoy a family day of fall fun at Motley Fall Fest on Saturday, Oct 12th.  Kids and family activities include pumpkin decorating, bouncy houses, petting zoo, wood projects, face painters, crazy hair, tattoos and taking your photo with a live scarecrow.  Kids activities are from 2-6pm at the Motley Fairgrounds.   DJ and food trucks all day.
• Northland Arboretum Haunted Trail & Trunk or Treat
• 5th-8th grade students are invited to HOP to It at Targeted Services Boosters starting on Tuesday, October 22.  Your child will HOP to It by working on Homework, Organization and Problem-Solving with the help of a licensed classroom teacher.  Classes will meet weekly on Tuesdays beginning right after school and ending at 4:30 PM. • The next 1 month Introductory session of Tae Kwon Do begins November 7th.  If you have any questions or want more information, see Lori in the Activities/Community Ed office.  TKD Registration Here  This is for ages 7+...adults are welcome to attend as well.  The session is limited to 10 participants, so don’t wait.  Register soon!
• There will be a parent/player meeting for Varsity Boys Hockey Players on Monday October 14 at the Robertson Theatre at Wadena-Deer Creek High School at 6 PM.
• LEAP is looking for a student Representative from grades 10-12 to be part of their organization.  LEAP, inc is a representation of community organizations who meet monthly to coordinate our actions to enhance our community. LEAP stands for leadership, engagement, advocacy and positiveness. Meetings are held once a month on Wednesdays at Sourcewell at 7am.  If you are interested in this leadership opportunity, please talk to Mrs. Ferdon. 
• FFA Chapter meeting on Monday, October 14th at 6:30 in Dan Rowe’s classroom. Everyone is welcome to attend!
