Congratulations to Vickie Serich, our February 2026 Staff of the Month!

Her fellow staff members have great things to say!
"Vickie is an outstanding team member at Staples-Motley Elementary School. She consistently goes above and beyond to assist the elementary staff and students in anything. Whether it is helping take lunch cards, giving a hug to a student who needs it, or helping with a family that is having a tough time, Vickie goes above and beyond her job duties. Vickie treats everyone who enters the office with respect, even when that is not given to her. Thank you for everything that you do for our schools."

"Through the care she puts into her work and the positive impact it has on others across our district. She is collaborative, thoughtful and intentional and it makes a noticeable difference every day.

January 2026 Activities Students of the Month

Activities Students of the Month!

Congratulations to our January 2026 Activities Students of the Month, Lily Davis and Gage Bjerga.

"Lily is a great leader in the music department. She takes additional private lessons outside of school and always strives to become a better musician. She has flexibility and a positive attitude when it comes to playing challenging music and playing parts that aren’t necessarily written for her instrument."

"Gage has been a leader in the wrestling program and has performed at a very high level. He recently had a HUGE win against a two time state champion from Grand Rapids. Gage is always willing to work and give his best and certainly is seeing results because of all the extra time he puts into wrestling. Gage has made wrestling a lifestyle and he continues to grow and learn. Gages' success is not happening by accident, it is his time commitment, dedication, and determination that leads the way to his success."
